Ringing Training at West Heidelberg
The first ringing lesson was held at St Pius X primary school in West Heidelberg on Thursday 28th May. Mariane Merati is in charge of the teaching with David Smith as assistant, and David Pacey helped with this very successful first lesson. The first class consisted of two school students, a parent and a school teacher, with the school principal also putting in an appearance and keen to learn. They all proved very enthusiastic and quick learners, so, with a second lesson due later the following day, the scheme has got off to a very promising start.
