ANZAC Day Ringing 2023

Many ANZAB ringers and towers commemorated ANZAC Day in 2023. Whether it was reported on BellBoard or was purely local ringing, the intention was the same - to honour the memory of the fallen, and all those who have served their country in wartime and in peace.

The Peal of Gallipoli Surprise Major at Goulburn is noteworthy, as is the Peal of Surprise Major at Ypres, Belgium. There was ringing in Wellington, Brisbane, Burwood and Sydney, and graveside ringing on handbells at Ypres, and "virtual ringing" in the UK.
