Help Hang a Bell in Timor-Leste

St Leonard's, Naremburn, is twinned with the Parish of Letefoho in Timor-Leste. Geoff Gemmell and Ron Shepherd, with assistance from the Keltek Trust, found a bell for them, and Geoff is now fund raising to help them build a tower in which to hang it. Geoff writes:

Timor-Leste is just to the north of our most northerly tower in Darwin. The Parish community of Letefoho sought my assistance in obtaining a bell for its new chapel at Eraulo, built on the scale of a cathedral! Ron Shepherd helped in obtaining a 2cwt Warner bell (see photo).

I am doing a 72km walk from Dili to Letefoho to raise funds for the people of Letefoho. 80% of donations will go to assist the education of the school students of the Parish; 20% will go to construction of the bell tower. I am covering all my expenses for the trip, so all money raised will go to these purposes.
