ANZAB at The Ringing World and CCCBR AGMs in Sheffield

David Smith, Peter Harrison and I represented ANZAB at the two AGMs in Sheffield on 7 September 2025. A report will appear in Ringing Towers in due course. Inga Griffiths-Hunt attended in her role working on a Young Ringers' Hub. The three young ringers given honorariums to progress some Ringing 2030 goals this (UK) summer were highlighted in the reports to the CCCBR AGM.

The Ringing World AGM was of particular interest to me, with the value of the magazine and the value of their sponsorship of the (British) National Youth contest (RWNYC) very clear to the attendees who were clear in their support and full of ideas to continue to support The Ringing World so it can continue to support ringing around the world.

I would encourage any ANZAB youth in the UK next July to participate in the RWNYC as a volunteer. The 2026 event will be held in Nottingham on 4 July and volunteers, youth or not, can offer their services by email to
