Remembering Rusty at a Branch Practice

On Tuesday 16 June, the NSW & ACT Branch of ANZAB met for a branch practice in memory of Rusty Walters at St Jude's, Randwick. It's been a couple of years since a branch practice has been hosted there and it seemed apt timing.

There was a good turn-out from both locals and other ringers, as well as two non-ringing observers.

Highlights were some well struck plain hunt on 7 and 8, a "first" calling a touch of Stedman Triples for Clare Dyer, as well as a first for most of the band getting through a couple of leads of Mr Rusty Surprise Major!

Sociable libations at the Coach and Horses followed the evening's proceedings.
