On Saturday the 4th of October, I, supported by Deryn, Laura and Luka, presented at the Percussive Arts Society - Day of Percussion, run by the University of Melbourne. We had a varied audience of about 40 people. As it was part of a music event, we focussed our presentation on the music of ringing, speaking about the various ways we depict and think about our "sheet music" such as blue line, circle of work, and place notation.

We demonstrated rounds, queens and tittums on handbells to show the musicality of what call changes can achieve. We also did the "dance of plain hunt" with five audience members joining three us to show how pairs of bells swap, which really helped everyone in the audience to understand how place notation works.

I had a great time talking to a group about bellringing and would love to do it again!
