Coursing Orders for Plain Bob and Surprise

The NSW/ACT Branch of ANZAB organised a workshop on Coursing Orders, held at St Mary's Cathedral on 18 October. Peter Harrison ran a presentation, with a practical interlude, over a 2 hour period.

The presentation, with discussion, was recorded in two parts, and may be found on YouTube here (the first half hour) and here (the hour following the practical interlude).

The presentation was aimed at people already able to read diary compositions of Plain Bob but may be helpful to people not yet at that stage. It included material at the high-end level of conducting including how to use the coursing order in various methods, and the effect of far place calls and snap starts. It also covered more basic concepts such as the relationship between the lead-end row and the coursing order.
