A Different Kind of Muffle

I visited to St Vedast, Foster Lane, recently - a heavy but well hung six in London. I watched a handling session prior to the practice and was interested to see the muffles used. They are a circular cushion with a draw string as shown in the photo and were very effective. Being an all-round muffle makes them easy to fit.
