ANZAB Youth Recognised by ART Awards

The winners of the ART awards for 2026 were announced recently.

Ruth Lightbourne writes: To our delight Dylan Thomas, who has been Ringing Master at Wellington Cathedral for the past year won the Len Roberts Award for the Promotion of Ringing. He was also nominated for the Award for Excellence in Recruitment and Retention. Dylan has been outstanding in all these respects, working tirelessly to promote his passion in Wellington and to pass his joy in ringing on to new recruits.

Deryn Griffiths writes: The ANZAB Youth were recognised as Runners Up for the Sarah Beacham Youth Award. They were highly commended by the judges who described it as "a brilliant nomination acting on a so much bigger scale than anything else we've seen."

Congratulations to Dylan Thomas and to the ANZAB Youth, with particular mention of Charlotte Sorell, for this recognition of their work. Thank you to the nominators (Ruth and Deryn).
